Wilkinson Pick-ups
Wilkinson pickups were first designed for my "Fret-King" range of guitars. Not all of the pickups in the ranges are exact vintage replicas, I have taken the liberty of making some subtle changes to make them more appropriate to todays' playing styles. All Wilkinson pickups are wound for "Tone". Balance is important to me - high frequencies should sparkle but not be thin - mids, warm and defined, and lower frequencies tight and articulate.
Wlikinson Vibratos
When building guitars, or modifying existing instruments, the choice of bridge or tailpiece is critical. The most exotic woods or the most expensive pickups are wasted if the strings cannot transmit their full resonance to the instrument. The hottest pickups will not sustain a note if the string vibration dies prematurely due to poor coupling through the bridge. Wilkinson Hardware uses designs and materials painstakingly developed to get the best out of you guitar.
